Flashpoint is taking us to the start of the new DCU, so it matters right now, this is how we get there. Just because the DCU is changing to something different in the future doesn't mean what's happening now doesn't matter.

I don't get how guardians of the galaxy and nova got canceled because of limited sales numbers but then marvel puts out a new cosmic book for 4.99..
