While I enjoyed the over-all story arc, this was very much a “We’ll see you later” issue that concludes absolutely…

I never really cared for Aquaman before Johns got ahold of the character for the new 52, but I’ve been…

While Greg Rucka’s run on Punisher has been my favorite Punisher I’ve read and has been visually amazing with Checchetto…

May 30, 2013 1:17 pm Besides the earlier issues in this run, are there more stories with the others? I enjoyed the Others in the earlier issues because it added to Aquaman's history, but this was just a interruption in my opinion. Thanks for any info on The Others earlier issues.
May 24, 2013 4:16 pm An instant classic "Return to comic store for small amount of credit" issue! I love Ostranders Star Wars stuff, but this is not good at all.
April 9, 2013 10:56 pm Sometimes I miss Ron and his way of saying "Cock" and giggling. Especially when reviewing that Black (something) part 2 with the succubus.
April 9, 2013 10:53 pm Since Marvel was dumb and ended Rucka's Punisher run, this is the book I look forward to the most every month. Which is weird because I never liked Punisher or Hawkeye before these two runs. Maybe it's Hollingsworth...
April 5, 2013 10:38 pm The Art was great. I know he was on the zero issue, and kept right on going with ther great work. I thought the story was pretty good, I like that Swampy let one body dissolve and grew in another part of the world(Allen Moore-ish). The only weird thing for me is that Swamp Thing kept referring to himself as a man in his inner dialog when he obviously accepted his death and that his essence was in the creature, in issue 18. I'll keep picking it up. Love a book outside of the normal "Hero" book.
March 11, 2013 6:05 pm Funny story: I walk into my local shop, the owner says to me "Hey. Check this out. Don't worry, it's not what your think. The title has nothing to do with what's in the book." I look at the title and assume the guy knows my tastes after 9-10 years. I open the book, and... stare at two women in a rather...lets call it, racy...position, with multiple other close-up pics. I ask "Did you even read this?". He says "Yeah, it was great..." then pauses as I turn the comic towards him and show him the..spread..."Oh. I should probably put this on the back shelf." It was freakin helarious. The other people in the shop stood around laughing. I probably helped him sell 10 copies by pointing out what was no longer apparent to him.
January 26, 2013 10:33 am I can't recommend Hawkeye enough! After I said I'd never buy a Hawkeye issue, I heard the reviews on the podcast and picked up the first 2 issues, and it's been the book I've looked forward to reading each month. It's the only Marvel book I read now. Although I am thinking of picking up the first 3 FF and Fantastic 4 issues since they're $2.99 and Fraction is writing them too.
January 26, 2013 10:25 am I really love the Throne of Atlantis so far, but I wish they would have put the Shazam backup on hold while doing this crossover and give us 6 more pages of the story in each issue. I'm sure there are more people than just me who are only buying the JL issues for the crossover and the Shazam story just takes up room that could be used for the war. I'm sure the Shazam story is great, but not when you start on part 8 or 9.
December 23, 2012 11:14 am With all the dissapointment going on with my DC world, Frankenstein being cancelled, Snyder and Paquette leaving Swamp Thing, I'm glad that the Simone Batgirl fans are getting their writer back. It sucks when teams that are doing great on something get removed from projects. Maybe Marvel could get a clue from this and put Rucka, Chechetto, and Hollingsworth back on Punisher!!
December 5, 2012 8:27 pm Please, do yourself a favor, pick up the back issues you missed or the trade!!!
