Name: Jason Polensky

Bio: Well, I am a 26 year old law student that recently got back into comics from reading them in high school.  I tend to go with B level reads like Daredevil and Ghost Rider.  But, still enjoy a good Spiderman and Detective Comics book.  I am always open to suggestions, so if you have any shoot me an email!

September 11, 2012 10:42 am I think Ryan Reynolds woudl have been fine in a Deadpool movie. All they needed to do is reboot the character in the Marvel U. Not like that hasn't happened before.
September 10, 2012 3:22 pm This was a fantastic interview I am excited to see Walt's take on the different eras of comics that he talked about. The Alien Graphic novel that he mentioned is amazing as well, much better than some of the Dark Horse Alien comics.
July 29, 2012 10:29 pm I would agree with the calls for the Red Robin TPBs, really enjoyed that series as a whole. For those of you who are looking for Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying it is also located in the Death in the Family HC that DC put out a while back. It is running for right around the same price as the TPB listed on amazon and you get both stories in a great HC!
May 9, 2012 3:27 pm I was suprised at how much I liked this. Some his meta work leaves me less than satisfied. This book made me want to re read it as soon as I finished it. Such a great read!
July 14, 2011 1:34 pm I really enjoyed the Meltzer run coming out of Idenity Crisis.  I thought focusing on Red Tornado was great and it was nice to see a lesser used character be the lead in the series.
July 12, 2011 11:27 am Gotham Noir is a great read and I recommend it to any fan of the Batverse or their run on Criminal
July 6, 2011 3:03 pm My POTW for the week.  The reveal was awesome and really worked within the Flashpoint universe.  It makes Thomas Wayne's motivation that much more now that we know what his wife became after the death of Bruce.  So now he is not only fighting for the life of his son, but also his wife!
June 28, 2011 3:37 pm I think they were looking for people to say superheroe replaced a lack of father figure and that comic fans tend to lean more toward vigilante justice then others.

June 28, 2011 3:14 pm Really an interesting survey, hope you guys cover results or an overview of what they find in their paper
June 24, 2011 12:57 pm Restrepo sounds like it falls in line with the Generation Kill book.  I will head out and grab that book.  I just hope this does not mean the end of Viking at Image.
