Where have you gone Starman?   This book reminded me why I really enjoyed the series and why I collect it in the Omnibus’ that come out from DC.  The writing was sharp and witty.  It gave us a new perspective on how the Black Lanterns work for someone who doesn’t need heart and some closure of sorts for the Starman universe.  James Robinson found a niche in the zombie revival that is Blackest Night and made it an enjoyable read.  The art on the other hand was not horrible, but definately could have been better.  While the Tony Harris cover is great, the lines decided that they were going to go on vacation and be everywhere on the inside.  It doesn’t detract from this great story and I would recommend it very highly.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 4 - Very Good
