Are You Still… A Collector?
February 27, 2012 1:31 pm Good article. I enjoyed it. I have space issues in my house, but I know what makes me happy, and I plan to keep doing what I have been doing, i.e., buying and holding onto them. It makes me happy and I feel fortunate that something so simple brings a smile to my face. If others don't want to hold onto their comics, that's cool too.

THE AVENGERS #22
February 15, 2012 11:51 pm This story arc is not doing it for me. I feel like every issue is the same. This felt a little different than before only because I can't believe the reader is supposed to accept that a President would act as portrayed in the story. I can accept magic, aliens, and super powers, but I can't stomach that.
I really hope Marvel changes things up big time in the Avengers. I would love to see a West Coast Avengers title and would like to see one of Avengers or New Avengers go away. Cosmic Avengers would be incredible - have a group of heavy hitters take a preemptive stance against the Brood, Skrulls, or Badoon.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #679.1
February 13, 2012 6:46 pm I have been really enjoying ASM for a while. I really enjoyed BND and Big Time has been great fun as well. Good time to be a Spidey fan IMHO.

THE NEW AVENGERS #21
February 13, 2012 6:41 pm In contrast - look at Daredevil, ASM, and/or Batman - those are all beautiful covers for the same reasons this is not.

THE NEW AVENGERS #21
February 13, 2012 6:39 pm I don't like the banner, the logo is either too big or is positioned too low on the cover - taking up too much real estate. The biggest problem for me is the coloring. The coloring makes everything seem like an amorphous blob, all jumbled together.

PREVIEW: Secret Avengers #22
February 2, 2012 6:35 pm @Conor. Yep, I got that from reading the prior comments/clarifications. I guess if you have to explain a joke it wasn't a good joke.

PREVIEW: Secret Avengers #22
February 2, 2012 3:48 pm I was on the fence on this book.... I mean, I have bought all the Secret Avengers to date, Captain Britain is my favorite character, Gabe Hardman is one of the best artists alive, Remender is at the top of his game and producing some of the best original stories out there, I have a guest appearance on page 5 of the book, I named my son after the inker of the book, the editor of the book helped me move some heavy boxes in my garage over the weekend.... but I was undecided and unconvinced....
Then I heard from Ron that the book is only $2.99! Thank you Ron! I am going all in. Fingers crossed. You only live once. Ron - if this isn't good, I want my 2 dollars back!

SUPER BOWL AD TEASER: Marvel’s The Avengers
January 31, 2012 3:53 pm Very short but IMHO effective. I am pumped. I don't need to see any more - I want to be surprised. I know I will be entertained.

THE NEW AVENGERS #20
January 15, 2012 11:21 pm I feel as if I already read this issue several times already. I think I feel the same way about the Dark Avengers as I do the Karsashians.

DEFENDERS STRANGE HEROES
December 19, 2011 11:41 pm @mgriffith - I agree. Gargoyle is one of my favorite characters - his mini series was fantastic - great underused character. Moondragon, Cloud, Hellstorm, Nighthawk, etc. There are a lot of really cool characters that have been on the team. I am hoping the current series sticks around for a while so we get to revisit them. There is something about the combination of characters on the Defenders that makes them more interesting to me in a group setting rather than individually.
