March 21, 2013 5:13 pm Had a friend in class who talked me into lending him Blackest Night.I told him that you don't just jump into Blackest Night but he didn't listen.He gave it back to me about an hour later. A more positive story, there was a cute girl in class who wore those Superman t-shirts you can buy at Hot Topic or whatever.I loaned her Superman:Earth One and she enjoyed it immensely.

March 21, 2013 4:57 pm You know i'm not the biggest Morrison fan, i honestly don't see the big deal, but the guy is talented when it comes to writing.I loved Batman and Robin and his most recent run on Action was awesome! I think his perspective is interesting and he does really sift through all the parts of a character. But as a reader i wonder, what kind of a Wonder Woman are we getting.Is it going to be All-Star Superman style, that is big and bold and godlike (in this case that's a given but you know what i mean) or is this going to be Batman and Robin/Action Comics where the character is a fresh and fun take on the character.

March 21, 2013 4:52 pm Meh.Gonna ride GLC and Red Lanterns to the end of the Wrath of the First Lantern then see where that goes.If it doesn't improve and i don't like it.I won't buy it.Same with Action Comics, simple as that.

March 21, 2013 4:42 pm I'm with you friend! I've always been a DC guy but these past few controversies have definitely tested my faith.I'm still gonna buy GLC and Red Lantern Corp. Action Comics on the other hand.....well if the first story arc isn't good then i might have to drop it.

March 17, 2013 8:02 am I'm interested to see what the Unlimited Comics is like for DC.I heard that the Marvel one had mostly older issues and while i don't mind reading old issues, i'd like to be able read some newer issues.

March 14, 2013 5:17 pm Tumblr is home to a very special way of beating dead horses.Maybe that's not the right analogy but hopefully you get what i'm saying.They love debating "sexism in comics" which usually translates to "this character is dead and the writer is a white male therefore there is a conspiracy to keep her in limbo because she's a woman".They also worship Stephanie Brown with a messiah-like reverence. Perhaps i shouldn't have brought up Steph, i know how that's a "hot button" issue on the internet.

March 11, 2013 1:31 pm Man i love all the old Wildstorm series they put on these flashbacks.Unfortunately the Authority had gone downhill when Miller took over and Team Achilles was hardly worthy of holding the name "Stormwatch".

March 11, 2013 1:24 pm People seem to think that it's entirely a Batman origin.It's Batman's New 52 Origin and that i want to see.Would i like to see Harper Row again? Sure.But i'm willing to shell out for a good story.
