This was classic wolverine action that reminded me of the short stories of the early issues in Marvel Comics Presents…

This arc started pretty good, lost some steam in the middle, and then came to an end which left me…

This comic was a definite “let me pick it up and see” book, and did it surprise.  Consensus is that…

January 25, 2011 6:15 pm I'm holding out for this only being the end of volume 2. 3 volumes makes an attractive trilogy for collection (hint hint marvel )
January 24, 2011 6:24 pm Does anyone know if this is really the end? Or is it just the end of volume 2?
November 12, 2010 10:29 am This issue had the perfect ending. Here us hoping it sticks.

Instead of criticizing Miller for his political views, misogyny, etc., just ask yourself the following three questions:

1.  What was the last thing he wrote that you actually liked?

2.  What was the last thing he wrote that you actually read and disliked?

3.  What does this current work most resemble?

Here are my answers: 1. DKR 2. ASB&R 3. Neither

Based on that, I am erring on the side of caution and not planning on getting this book.

July 21, 2010 10:53 am This is a very well done interview, and I feel for Mr. DeFalco's apparent frustration with the way his property has been treated.  Spider-Girl was and is a great comic that really feels and reads like the Spider-Man comics I grew up with and which BND tried to restart in the main universe.  I have been a reader of both Spider-Girl's and Arana's adventures, and Arana is no Spider-Girl. I haven't been current on her comics, but Arana started out as some nonsensical Guyver clone with a spider history.  Marvel probably just wants to make room for another Deadpool or Wolverine book, or better yet, vampire nonsense (though I am a Deadpool fan).  If they could bring the girl Bucky into the main universe, I don't see why they can't with Spider-Girl!

July 2, 2010 2:48 pm Batman 432 - a little after Robin died and full of Jim Stalin/Jim Aparo goodness. No supervillain, just a kidnapping.  There is an awesome, one page, panel by panel look at Batman's effect on the guilty party when they open their door to see him. That whole era can be found in dollar bins and is awesome.
