September 11, 2012 3:47 am Loved the last series despite the lateness, this should hopefully be fantastic as well.
September 11, 2012 3:46 am So, I have all the other hardcovers but the stuff this collects isn't meant to be that great is it?
August 26, 2012 3:28 pm It was the editor's fault! Or something!
August 25, 2012 3:17 am Conor, I think that was the best Pick of the Week Review I've read since I started following this site a few years ago. I also want to say thank you to you and Josh for championing this comic. When I drifted back into buying comics I took all my recommendations from old iFanboy podcasts and so this was one of the comics I started again with. It's one of the greatest comics of all time and shall be missed.
August 23, 2012 1:24 am I've had a commission from Jock before so I got in touch with him directly about it when the cover was first previewed a few months back. Then I met up with him at Kapow and collected it from him there. Some of it was added digitally but I have the main drawing you can see it on my Comic Art Fans page here: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.aspPiece=895820&GSub=129690
August 21, 2012 2:03 am I love this series, it's going to be a big loss. I can't wait to read this though, I know it's going to be just perfect. I'm also lucky enough to own the original artwork to that cover so I'll have a permanent trophy from this series on my wall.
August 14, 2012 5:30 pm It was a bit shorter, less detail and only really mentioned BEFORE WATCHMEN: NITE OWL (in caps) as an example of his work. There's a screen print of the original up here: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/08/joe-kubert-honored-save-for-dc/ There was a bit of an overreaction from the commenters but it wasn't good.
August 13, 2012 2:45 pm So it seems DC have corrected their earlier statement after a LOT of flack. http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2012/08/13/remembering-joe-kubert
July 30, 2012 2:25 pm Last issue right? I think in the future people will look back on this and realise it was one of the best comics of the last ten years. The scheduling killed it, but the collected editions will keep it alive.
July 25, 2012 4:11 pm Her face is too big and flat compared to her shoulder. Plus I'm not convinced that ANY of the characters have necks.
