I guess I read a different version of #195 - my copy had neither Violator or the Freak in it.

 

@mikeandzod21 Yeah this is the best art Portacio has put out in ages.  I can't help but wonder if the limited color palette isn't a big factor in toning down his style.

October 15, 2009 11:40 am @projectX2 I agree, this story seems to have stalled out a bit.  I get that Tomasi is showing a bunch of character moments as the individual GLs face their past, but I wish we saw the Indigo Lantern show up at the beginning of the story rather than get 22 pages of bickering with the promise of forward movement all the way at the end.

October 15, 2009 11:36 am Anyone else feel that this story line wrapped up a bit to quickly and nicely?  After such a drawn out run in prison he's out for two issues and *poof* we're all done?

@slockhart @ stulach Remember that the Black Hand is wandering around with Bruce's skull.  I"m sure it's going to come into play somehow.

I amazed this book isn't getting more discussion - it's been solid both story and art.  It also contains my favorite line of the week - "Dog in the eye! Dog! Dammit!"

 

September 9, 2009 7:48 am So no one knows who's taing over for Johns on Adventure?  I'm seriously bummed as I though he would stay on this book for a while, he writes Connor better than pretty much anyone else out there.
