February 13, 2012 8:42 pm I completely agree with you. I've been a DC fan all my life. But, one of the things that I liked about Marvel is that their continuity is a little bit more simpler than DC's. I was hoping this New 52 would solve that. Now, I'm OK that they're doing this for old readers and such, I just hope this doesn't bleed into other books and start a whole new Crisis thing. You're doing great DC, don't get ahead of yourself.

It's OK for you to do Swamp Thing, Miracle Man, Batman, Superman, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Lost Girls, and riff on Charlton's characters. It's OK for you to take someone else's characters and do what ever you want to do with them. But, it's NOT OK for other people to do the same thing to your characters? I love you Alan, but sometimes you can be a real jerk. It's also pretty clear that DC was very careful about picking the teams to work on these books and that they have an enormous respect for the source material. Worst case scenario is a person doesn't like it. It's not the end of the world. Who knows, maybe it'll be good?

January 25, 2012 9:23 pm I couldn't agree with you more. I loved the scene with Batman and Lantern, but having Superman be a side character in the Justice League seems wrong to me. This Darkseid also bothers me. He seems very King Kong like instead of being a brilliant God of Evil. We know you love Hal Jordan, Geoff, but give the other members a chance to shine! P.S. How could Hal NOT know who Bruce Wayne is? That's like saying you don't know who Bill Gates or Donald Trump is.
