June 5, 2017 5:39 pm had to quit, actually unsubscribed too. sick of you guys just bitching and complaining about movies and everything else, even on a positive review like this one. I'm just over the nitpicking. and this is going to sound silly SJW craziness, but Gal Gadot is a supermodel, despite her accent, she is as white-Americanized as every other character in comics/fashion and that's as far as I got with this review. She's tall, skinny but with big boobs and "simmering sensuality" blah blah blah... But this movie is very good, but it's overstated, all of it's themes are repeated again and again and again throughout the movie. anyway, I"m gone, gonna go enjoy things just for what they are, not what I want them to be, not for what they should have been, and if I'm disappointed in something, it's okay, I'm going to let that be a reminder of how lucky I am to have such an abundance of entertainment that even disappointments are able to exist, disappointments in entertainment should not rise to the level of being offensive, that's what you bring, not what the entertainment is. I don't know why I'm reacting this way to your silly review, it's a good movie, but what do I know, I think a lot of the movies you guys hate were okay movies, sure they weren't great, but I think this movie showed me that being so negative just doesn't help. I'm just done with the over-reactions and nit-picking and the blah blah. it's a good life, enjoy it. bye
July 24, 2012 2:28 pm I liked the art on the new Captain Marvel book, on the inside, I agree that the cover was so very very divergent from the inside art, it was like the reverse of how it usually is, usually (historically) the cover is all painted and fancy and the inside gets the clean and classic treatment. the inside art reminded me of Mark Texeira.
February 22, 2012 12:47 pm I love Ghost Rider, but ... ...this movie was worse than the first. But I found a lot of the visuals to be absolutely awesome!!! some of the animated stuff was pretty freaking cool. Marvel needs to do a Ghost Rider Max series, Ghost Rider is a demon possession story. I needs to be done as a horror movie. Make it a serious movie, not a demon superhero circus freak movie. No one seems to be able to do this right. The super camp in some of the comics doesn't work for me either though. I just want a serious story about a demon possessed person becoming a hero. This struggle of darkness turning into light should be an appealing idea.
November 30, 2011 3:56 pm that woulda been AWESOME, what ever happened to spider girl??
October 31, 2011 5:50 pm ok, seriously, what the hell is this about??? I want to like it but. . . what is it?
October 31, 2011 5:33 pm the way Ron described Fear Itself, is how I felt about Final Crisis (that's the Grant Morison one right?) it sounds almost like a direct copy of the way it was written, idk, I didn't read Fear Itself, I tried to read Final Crisis in trade but couldn't quite get through it. just from hearing conversations about it, it seems it's like when someone tries to do a story like how Quentin Tarantino did Pulp Fiction but they aren't QT so it doesn't work. So I'm probably woefully misinformed but neither one of those stories (FC or FI) had a tone or plot structure that agreed with me at all.
