October 20, 2011 1:37 am Awesome. I wish Marvel would follow up the Lee-Ditko ASM ominbus with one collecting the first 30 or so issues of the Lee-JR run.
October 3, 2011 8:18 pm Thanks for putting this together every week. I like knowing these statistics even though I can't do anything with them. It helps keep the comments real, in that I read comments about the books on other sites, but it's just one person's opinion, and I don't know where they are getting their stats from. This helps temper the hype and the criticism with some cold, hard facts.
October 1, 2011 10:11 am Ah, musical chairs creative teams. It has begun--again.
September 28, 2011 10:53 pm I agree. His hits versus his misses seem to be on par with a majority of writers. Scratch that, he's above par, because the majority of writers toil in mediocrity, never rising to have even one great hit. Personally, I'm on a case-by-case basis with Mr. Loeb. Not only did he do Teen Wolf, but he also wrote Commando: "Remember when I said I'd kill you last? I lied."
September 26, 2011 10:46 am That is a great interpretation of the song's lyrics. I'll never be able to listen to it again without thinking about Kamandi. Thanks for posting this.
September 7, 2011 12:35 am 5. Gambit - Always hated. He not only wears a trench coat, he wears a full body suit with the ridiculous partial head cowl. How would you even put that on? And wouldn't it be really hot to wear, especially in the humid summers of Louisiana? Everything about him seems half-ass and not thought through. 4. Captain Marvel - I liked him in JLU and in "Justice" and in "Kingdom Come." I've never found a reason to hate him, but I don't think I would ever pick up a book starring him, unless the creative team was out of this world (e.g., Neil Gaiman and Geoff Darrow). 3. Aquaman - Same goes for him as Captain Marvel. That said, I am getting his book by Johns and Reis (sp.?). 2. & 1. Deadpool & Lobo - They're only as good as the stories they're in, and even then they have to be secondary to the story. I find they work as a joke, or better yet, a punchline, and everybody knows repeating the punchline ad nauseum is never funny. They can drive the story or flavor the story, but the story should never really be about them.
August 27, 2011 6:45 am I'd love to see Peter David finish out what he had planned for his Hulk run. And I wouldn't mind if he brought Gary Frank back with him as well.
August 9, 2011 10:25 am Spider-Ham and Power Pack, both made by Pixar.
August 3, 2011 11:13 pm The funniest thing abou this announcement is that every time I tell someone about this, their reaction is: "Andrew Garfield's black?"

The average person doesn't know or care about comics.
August 2, 2011 4:35 am @TheNextChampion  Yeah, I believe it was during John Byrne's run. When they remerged, I believe that led to Hulk becoming the gray Hulk for the first time since his first appearance. I could be wrong as a lot has happened to me since the 80s.
