May 7, 2012 4:29 pm I think Thanos is a great opening to bring in the Kree and Captain Mar-vell.
May 7, 2012 4:22 pm LOL I have seen the movie 3 times and each time I missed that line after Hulk pounds Loki because everyone was laughing so hard.
March 5, 2012 4:19 pm I kinda saw this coming at the beginning of the episode. It became clear that the Dale/Andrea romance was not going to happen in this interpretation. The comic and the tv show are really what happens after you survive the initial outbreak and the choices that have to be made to survive. Dale's impassioned speech won back the group after they had begun to fall under Shane's influence. It was a powerful episode and perhaps we see Herschel assume some of Dale's going forward. Jeffery DeMunn was a perfect Dale. its going to be sad to see him go. T-Dog is the weakest part of the series. Beth has had more impact on the series than he has. I really hop they address his character soon or mercy kill him. Having him around to show up for meaningless cameos doesnt add anything to the show.
February 29, 2012 5:56 pm Yeah Hawkeye and Widow do seem a bit out of place but I hope they use them like Bendis did in Mighty Avengers#1. When Tony was explaining the rationale for his team he explained that he needed people like Widow who always are out gunned/powered because they know ways to overcome obstacles w/o always resorting to brute force. Also I see them as Fury's people to keep tabs on the wild cards on the team like Hulk and Thor.
November 7, 2011 4:27 am TNC has a good bead on this issue. Art is rushed and Morales is the weak link in this run. However I would grade the story higher, mainly because it defines the Clark Kent we will be seeing movig forward, not the bumbling reporter playing second fiddle to Lois but a dedicated, sharp investigative reporter. This is clearly a set-up issue and Im excited to see where Morrison takes the series.
October 31, 2011 12:28 pm Not to pile on TNC, but if your having so many problems with the show you need to do what Daryl suggests, opt out. Stop watching something your not enjoying. My friend is a huge Batman fan. Absolutely loved Arkham Asylum. Cant stand Batman: Arkham City. Why? It wasnt the linear story driven experience he expected. No one can convince him its is a great game, despite millions of sales and glowing reviews because he wanted a different experience. I think you should take that into consideration when you call it "garbage". Millions of people, comic book fans or no think its pretty damn good, with strong acting performances most episodes. Does it have problems, sure. I think they have spent way too much time with the distraught couple Rick and Lori and the Sophia search is dragging on. But every episode manages to move the series forward and bring at least one "Oh Shit" moment. The strength of the show for me is that it challenges your assumptions of the characters from the comic. Shane is the perfect example of this, i am really enjoying Shane's devolution. You can really see him start to lose it, but at the same time you start to pity a guy who is trying damn hard to be a good man, but keep falling short. Each time he does, he loses a piece of his humanity. It compelling in any drama setting. Daryl is there to keep the cast from falling in self pity and Andrea is a far cry from the confident assassin we love in the comics. T-Dog for me is the only true weak link, I hope they find something to expand his character now, because his screen time is being wasted.
May 14, 2010 1:01 pm The thing I love about this comic, aside from Wolverine cameo and the nice resolution to the Hood v. Avengers storyline is the solidifying of Luke Cage into a A-List hero. In one of the post House of M issues, Carol Danvers talks about levels of heros in the Marvel U. Guys like Thor, Iron Man, and Cap rise above the rest, i think now you can put Luke Cage at least near those heros. He provided a great moral high round when the team looked like they were goign to lose their direction in the wake of Civil War. The speech he gives just before they go after the Hood really elevates him in my mind as a great Marvel hero.

While I do want Steve back at one point, i think it would do an incredible disservice to bring him back now. Let Bucky fight on as Cap a little while longer. Besides Dark Reign is just getting into full swing. Cap coming back would trigger another Civil War in the Marvel U.

@KickAss

 I'd have to agree with Spoons on the subscriber thing. I subscribed to Thor and NA and it was a crap shoot as to when I would recieve my books. Mostly they were 3-5 days late, sometimes more than that. I renewed my NA subscriptionand I never recieved my NA #51. The price is very nice, but if you need to have your books on Wed, I wouldnt recommend subscription.
