‘Thor 2’ Gets a Villain and He’s a Doctor: Christopher Eccleston
August 3, 2012 4:29 pm This is good news. Hopefully one of the secrets of Thor 2: The Dark World is that there is a surprise third antagonist and that threat comes in the shape of Kurse: http://goo.gl/ie86b
After all Malekith did manipulate Kurse years ago to fight Thor way back during Walt Simson's seminal run on the title.
If this happened, my mind would be blown.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK #2
November 16, 2011 4:49 pm It's unfortunate Marc had to take timeout from this book so early in its run. The subs made this second issue muddled. It was jarring switching from one to the other. Still, like were the story is going.

FEAR ITSELF #7 (OF 7)
October 22, 2011 5:24 am Don't think I can add any new perspective, only reinforce the consensus that this event has been dire. Plagued by poor and uncharacteristic dialogue, missed opportunities, baffling editing, which made no sense, flat characters who seemingly had their personalities collectively erased by a writer who clearly wasn't up to the task. The only redeeming aspect of the whole run was Stuart Immonen's exceptional art work. But even that was hampered at times by Fraction's writing.
Hopefully Marvel will recover from this soon rather than later. One thing is for sure - Matt Fraction should be relegated to the fringes after failing spectacularly on this high-profile event book.

Remake & Reboot: The Lobo Comic Series
October 2, 2011 6:25 pm Well Bisley is currently on DC's books. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be great to see a combination of the above and Bisley proving cover art with the occasional interior art issue as he has been doing on Hellblazer.

September 2011 Thought Box
September 7, 2011 8:50 am Generally speaking, it takes a while for publishers and consumers to adopt new methods of distribution and consumption. There is a certain degree of reluctance to discard the established standard because the alternative is revolutionary. e.g. digital media, elminating normal methods for distribution (printing and shipping).
In time both publishing houses and consumers will fully embrace the new paradigm. Unfortunately that will almost certainly have negative effects for your local comic book store.

BIG LIE #1
September 7, 2011 8:26 am Bought this simply because of Rick Veitch. Haven't read it yet (still at work), but the premise does make you involuntarily roll your eyes.
