Francisco

Name: Francisco Rosa

Bio: Been reading comics 30+ years.  Living in Montreal Quebec, I've been exposed to both North American comics and it's French equivalent (from QC, France & Belgium), so I like to think I'm fairly diverse in my tastes toward the artform.I dabbled in comics writing, art and publishing during the 1990s with my Scarlet Rose Productions company but discovered after 5 years that I was much better in the wine trade.  So I now spend most of my time tasting, reviewing and selling Bacchus' favorite drink.I also served 3 years as a Judge and advisor for the Joe Shuster Awards, the Canadian comics awards which brings the work of canuck creators to public attention.

March 30, 2012 11:49 am Ron corrected the spelling mistake. Kinda kills the joke now. and it went so well with my own typos too.
March 30, 2012 11:29 am Never too early. Actually I was expecting a more pimped out look from Hawk since the blub above says "as the artist of a FUR issue mini-series." Would have gone perfectly with the Frank Miller inspired splash page and white ninja.
March 30, 2012 11:15 am What total mastery of the comic book art form!
March 28, 2012 9:17 am about freakin' time
January 30, 2012 11:46 am Dave Dorman should get a comp copy.
January 23, 2012 11:39 pm Right on Ken, 20pgs for $3.99? No way. Reason why I dropped Bendis' Avengers titles too.
January 13, 2012 11:05 pm Well, I guess I'll be dropping Deathstroke and Grifter with issues #8.
January 12, 2012 9:55 am Which really makes me glad I hunted down the original issues of both MOKF and ROM. It would be fun thought to see the art of Paul Gulacy, Mike Zeck and Gene Day in glorious black and white to admire the linework.
January 12, 2012 9:51 am Sad about O.M.A.C. but totally agree on the cancellation of all the others. Will probably try BATMAN INCORPORATED, WORLDS’ FINESTand DIAL H. Really not interested in reading anything by J. T. Krul, the dead-cat-as-a-weapon writer or books from people in Bob Harras`rolodex.
