Great conversation guys, I love it when someone whose work I've loved for years turns out to be a genuinely nice guy on top of being one of the best artists in the business.

April 8, 2010 1:48 pm @Shallam - I'm curious what makes you think the cost of trades would increase, if digital were to take off the publishers would be making the money to pay the creators as well as money to offset the printing of the eventual trades off of those sales and any later hard copies released would essentially be all profit for them. This is assuming they adopt the model that I think most fans support where they buy their monthly issues digitally and then get trades of the things that they enjoy.

I was a huge fan of the free-roaming style of the earlier games (specifically Spider-Man 2 on the GameCube) not sure how I feel about them dropping that but I'll reserve judgement until I play the game.

...also is it just me or is "Spider-Essence" a horrible term.
