January 20, 2011 5:46 pm I love how the only reason that JJJ was cut from the film is because "nobody" could beat Simmons' performance.

Yeah.
Sure.

It will be the LAST thing I'm thinking about while I'm watching this movie a year & 1/2 from now.
January 8, 2011 1:58 pm Congrats on the 10 years, good sirs!

Now when's the 3D coming? ;-)
December 14, 2010 5:45 pm I'm not sure where the fire is here;  Iron Man 3 is so far away at this point that I'm not surprised that Marvel even would "know" what the film is.  A lot of these things should be done much closer the actual pre-production and filming, and from Disney's perspective, after we all see how much success/failure/headache the Avengers film will be.

And that being said, the director will probably be whoever's going to have a indie hit that makes a name for him/herself within the next two years who then want to get some crossover appeal;  something that's always benifitial to the studio & the director.
October 20, 2010 7:20 pm I've not been one to brag about my name being in the credits of the latest Ras Kass album, but yes:  Kickstarter is very cool and I can say that it works out well for everyone involved.
June 30, 2010 9:17 pm Made a trip to the LCS specifically for this issue...and they were sold out!  Believe me, that's never happened with Wonder Woman before...I would like to read the issue before passing "judgement", also, but it is good to see this as POW, even if it took a god like Perez to get a Gail Simone story to such an achievement.  Kudos for the pick!
January 9, 2010 1:14 pm Well....Carol can be a bit of a bitch sometimes, right?

Wow, I really enjoyed the movie and held it in the highest of standards....untill I read this.  Now that I know what REALLY happened behind the scenes (Marvel execs telling Hollywood actors and directors how their characters would act), I just can't seem to stay in the same room if this hack-of-a-movie is playing at the same time.....

In all seriousness:  anybody here love art?  Good, good.  Now, how important is it to your enjoyment of said art to know EXACTLY how it was produced?  That's what I thought.

June 19, 2009 10:53 pm The saddiest thing in the world is the fact that I remember this, but never thought of it in this way....until now.  Thanks for the context....thanks a lot.
June 18, 2009 9:20 pm @JAMESDEAN2020  That's what I was thinking, too.  It doesn't say, but, c'mon, how many people have that mustache going on?

Ugh, I totally prejudged this book.  Very good read;  they didn't change anything to update anything or any of that shit I thought they were trying to do;  just a nice little way of tying Gambit's bits and pieces (and there are quite a few of them) up into a complete story that actually makes sense.
