August 8, 2009 8:48 pm Ebert has been losing it for a few years now.  He got lots of plot mixed up in his reviews for Terminator Salvation, Transformers 2, Star Trek, and now GI Joe.  He should stick with the indie stuff if he's not going to pay attention watching the blockbuster films. It's unprofessional and disrespectful.
July 30, 2009 2:43 pm First half put me to sleep. But I did enjoy the action of the second half. There was just no character work done on Hal, which is weird since it's only a 70 minute film.
July 29, 2009 10:23 am Sounds terribly boring. Glad I didn't waste a trip.
July 16, 2009 6:12 pm Me likey!
July 16, 2009 8:17 am Maybe no one has done the multicolored lantern ring idea in the past because it's extremely CHEEZY.  And unfortunately it's capped off with something as unoriginal and overused as a zombie component.

Thank you, Garrett.

Cowboys and Aliens has been in in development hell for about 10 years, so I'm not going to get excited over this one until it starts filming.

July 14, 2009 2:27 pm Get a real career that pays real money and benefits and do comics work on the side. Or be content with fanfic to scratch that itch. But as a career choice, run far away from that!  You won't retire on it, and it will only hurt your chance of getting laid.
July 14, 2009 2:21 pm John Arcudi's slam against Hitchcock was completely ridiculous. I guess he thinks the same of Kubrick and Scorcese.  For that matter, Monet and Rembrandt too.  Hitchcock has 1000X the talent and storytelling ability of a guy who  writes Alien/Predator comics.  Jesus what arrogance!
July 11, 2009 10:35 am Dodged a bullet with Timberlake.  Reynolds isn't much better. I can't take seriously a guy who flashes his abs at every opportunity.
June 28, 2009 11:56 pm Why does every generation think they're the first to discover something?  Gray, nuanced villains and ambiguous characters are present in Shakespeare and Greek lit.  This was a really unnecessary article.
