January 29, 2013 10:49 am For those who are confused: Hyperion is pretty much Marvel's original Superman analogue, before The Sentry was a thing. He was part of the Squadron Supreme (the JLA analogue) and fought the Avengers a bunch of times in the 70s. Apparently, this Hyperion is from another universe or something, based on a caption in Avengers #1.

January 4, 2013 11:24 am I agree verbatim with Ron's part about the excitement of the New 52 been completely gone. I too was excited for it. I have been a very DC-centric guy ever since I started with superhero comics 16 years ago, and I've never bought so few DC books and been less excited about the publisher in my life.
