At long last our national nightmare of Superman walking is over. The story is so convoluted I have no idea what the point was. The story revolves around a teacher in Ohio who got a kryptonian crystal that made her internalize the sadness of Superman, and I assume his fans who are reading this story, and gain his powers while messing with his head. The story managed to get "truth, justice, and the American way" in not once but twice! With the reboot coming in the next issue there is even less reason to read this story. They should have just had a one shot of Superman being forced into bare knuckle boxing Captain Marvel, or even just do a comic based on "3 Men and a Baby" with Superman as Steve Guttenberg. Anything.
