Well a volume of Superman ends, is Grounded a worthy story worth reading?  “Grounded” was not a Alan Moore, Curt Swan, George Perez & Kurt Schaffenberger 2 part masterpiece rather a multipart slow motion reflection on “What makes Superman important to the DC Universe?”.  Over the arc it had nods to events that happened in Superman’s life & his value as a hero while often reflecting on the ideals of “Truth, Justice & The American Way.”  Grounded has merit however only as a loan from a local library or borrowing the issues from a fellow comic fan.  As a long time Superman fan since 1983, I will continue to read Action Comics & Superman (or other Super-family of titles) until DC no longer publishes the titles or when my eyes give out from old age which at this point is a while off.
