I'm so glad it ended that way. I haven't been this happy with an event ending for so long.
The heroes won the day. We got our token death (Murder murder murder! Kill kill kill!). The missing heroes came off of a ship and their reorientation back into society took about 2 panels (we don't want to get bogged down with character development). And I'm all ...meh.
And then Thiggity-Thizor told Iron Man to go fuck himself and everything changed.
Iron Man looked around and everyone was thinking, "Yeah, you go off and eff yourself". And then the government dropped him. Yes! Yes! Yes! The lame duck George Bush of the Marvel Universe! What are you saying Marvel? Does this signal a bigger change in direction? Does this means Iron Man won't show up in issue two of EVERY new Marvel book? Are we erasing the line in the sand from Civil War (that's been crossed over six-gagillion times already)? Maybe no more consecutive cataclysmic disaster events in New York?
Real villians again? Dr. Doom is so pissed off he's breaking the 4th wall on that last page. He's thinking, "You've been a bad boy reading all those fake status quo changing event books and I'm going to give you a spanking." Yayyyy!
Drop the Wasp in a dumpster and let's move on.

You give this two FIVES? Is this review a joke because I don’t get it. You seem to complain alot in the review, and then give 5s. How does meh = 5?
to each their own, obviously, but how is it thor says "screw you, im still mad you took a different moral stance than i" to iron man, then goes "oh! glad to have you back, wife beater! im so happy! squee!" to hank?
i failed to see how that made sense. maybe just me?
