I didn't like this issue, and frankly I may be on the fast road off this book. I'll enjoy watching the throwdown between the Mighty Avengers and FF, as it's the kind of old-fashioned Marvel hero vs. hero story that I like. But the reason is so off-base that it almost ruins the story that's going to follow. Why is Reed acting like such a jerk? He asks Pym if he needs help, then when Pym tells him what he needs, Reed balks. Why not just go to the lab, set the machine up or help Hank fix the problem, and then leave? If Reed, Hank, and Amadeus Cho are supposedly the 3 of the smartest people on Earth, shouldn't it take a few hours to take care of the problem? Also, why would Goliath have willed any kind of invention to BEN GRIMM?! The Skrull reasoning is preposterous, but I was thinking that maybe he would give it to Ben because he couldn't trust Reed or Hank during the Civil War. Yet, Ben was in France when Goliath died, so it would have had to have been set up before all that went down...which would mean that Goliath would have had NO GOOD REASON not to will the device to Hank Pym, the guy who HELPED HIM BUILD IT! Finally, Reed knows more about Pym particles than Hank? Wouldn't that be the equivalent of Stephen Hawking telling Einstein "I know more about E=MC2 than you do"? Ughh, Slott, there were so many things you could have done differently with this and still made a compelling story. As for the art, Segovia seems to take Pym's fetishizing of Jocasta to heart, as she's posed in some pretty provocative ways. I haven't seen figures like this since Jim Lee's drawings of Psylocke back in the 90's. Yet, Jocasta is a robot, so why she'd be posing like she is, I have no idea. Otherwise, it's a painted look at times referencing Pham, at times (such as the flashbacks) almost like Olivetti.
