What I liked about JLI is that I knew the characters. The meat of a team book is knowing the characters. Now I know these characters but their histories have changed and this did nothing to establish who they are now. I like the idea behind how they have now come together but your trying to sell me a new team that I have known for a while? This used to be a good team now its just a team of ghosts starting to be reborn. A good first issue should bring them to life so I know if I like these crazy kids. Am I asking for too much? Well, Animal Man proved that I am not.
