I originally wasn’t going to pick this series up, I loved what Winick did with Generation Lost and was so pumped for this series, but then I saw Jurgens name. While I didn’t dislike his Booster Gold run, his hokey-ish dialogue would always through me off. But I wasn’t getting much, as I am at college and I support my guy at home and keep my pull list there, I figured I could at least try it and get myself something to read up here. I was so happy I did. Unlike the other new 52 books, this one wasn’t as much world building as it was a good old fashioned action comic book. Jurgens set his team and threw them into the field, all with the wonderfully designed layouts and art by Lopresti.
