Never would I thought before the new 52 started that not only would I enjoy this book, but it would quickly become the best book DC is producing.

The dark and gritty art matches perfectly with not only the tone of the book, but also in the setting of Gotham City.

Andrew and his cohorts including Batman confront his love in a with a final few pages that no one could see coming. It’s a perfect jumping on point to the book for new readers and it’s a great build up issue for those who have read since issue 1.

I was mad that this book was tying into Justice League Dark, but after reading both books I can’t wait till next month’s crossover. 5 star rating and my pick of the week.
