I’m back on board. I’ve been down on this series almost since it began. Last month I dropped Green Lantern and GL Corps after a good couple years of following it. But I decided to stick with Blackest Night for the last two issues to see how it turns out. And lo’ and behold, I liked this issue. Did it help me to lose all the baggage of this GL-heavy crossover? Was it less confusing because I didn’t have to separate what was happening here with what is happening in the other two main series (not to mention the Infinite Crossovers)? I don’t know. All I know is that I found this exciting and fun, possibly for the first time. I’ve been saying to myself that I would go back and read just the Blackest Night issues to see if I enjoyed it more just like that. I might do that once it’s all over, but I’m glad that I’m also enjoying this now.

Story: 4 - Very Good
