This issue did not meet the expectations especially after taking a month off.  Something seemed thin.  I can't put my finger on it.  The art was really good, but nothing stood out.  The splash pages didn't have that major wow factor that other issues had.  The only major reveal in the book was that the white light battery/entity was inside earth all along and that the Guardians had been keeping human from being members of the Green Lantern corps to keep it secret was not that interesting.  Pretty much everyone expected Sinestro to become a white lantern, which is soft writing.  The issues feels chopped up and i wonder if Brightest day is the reason?
