Batman and Robin has really been the main Batman title since Grant Morrison has been writing it. Now with his last issue, the book will move to a secondary title since Morrison is leaving to write Batman.INC. Anyways this story is the ultimate end to absolutley fantastic run Morrison has been doing on this title. He revelas that Thomas Wayne is really dead, and Dr.Hurt is an older Thomas Wayne, a devil worshiper, not the direct father of Bruce. Bruce is now back as Batman, and asks Dick if Damian is Robin. He cannot answer as they are pulled into a battle with Hurt's 99 fiends. The easily defeat them, and then more show up, but they do not fight them, as they have been poisoned by the Joker's laughing gas, and laugh themselves to death. Batman goes to find Hurt, and rescue Alfred. Batman purposley allows Hurt to trap him in a trap he created, making for easy escape, Batman smashes Hurt's face thru a glass mirror. Hurt grabs Bruce by the mouth, and pulss them both into the water where Alfred is trapped, and Batman swims down to rescue Alfred, allowing Hurt to escape. Forever he is greated at the front of Wayne Manor by the Clown Prince of Crime himself. He slips on a banana peel Joker left on the front step, and  the Joker buries Hurt alive. Damian is able to defuse the bomb Joker ste off at the Bat-Bunker. As the Joker is trying to get away, he is greeted by the Batman he's known for years and gets punched in the mouth. As Dick and Damian are in Wayne Manor, Bruce steps into the room telling Damian to get ready to meet the public. There at a press conference, he tells the media that he has been secretley funding Batman in his war on crime, and is how he is able to have all his weaponry. Doing this further seperates suspicion of him as Batman. Then 6 bat-signals klight up behind him saying that it is a new era for the fight against crime.

The Grant Morrison script is a perfect cap off to his run, and was executed perfectly. Camereon Stewart's art is ok, but Frazer Irving is the artist that really brings it in this issue.
