  1. I’m really pumped to see where the she-hulk angle goes

  2. Might be my only pull this week. Cover is much better than last issue.

  3. The magic continues in the longest fight ever published.

  4. It’s kinda weird that we know where the Ultimate Universe goes after this (seeing as how it ties into Ultimates 2.)

  5. @supertrackmonkey

I agree, but I have never been able to resist a fight between these two.  This series is essentially cotton-candy (due to the reboot of the universe) fun to eat, but no substance.

  6. Yu has come a long way since this started.

  7. @MisterJ

Let’s get something straight: This was cotton candy before the delays and all. Because in the end, a story is a story, and the "universe" means jack shit other than a means to benefit the story.

  8. @myamotofreak

Well, sure, they are all stories.  What I am talking about though, is a matter of degrees of lack of impact for the story. I am referring to whatever happens within the story that could/will be used in subsequent stories.  All that I am referring to is the notion that any altered status quo that results from this series will likely never be touched on again. With the known resolution (the reboot), the peril of those in the story is lessened.

  9. This was A+, 100%, Kick ass comic of the week.

Great twist at the end and Lindelof has a great sense of humor. Easily my Pick this week and people should get back into this mini.

  10. I almost made this my POTW, but I went with Superman New Krypton #2 instead. I’m glad issue 5 will be out before the end of the month.

  11. You know…it’s entertaining enough, but we have gone through 4 issues of this and STILL haven’t had a true fight between the two.  Lindelof just keeps bringing us to the same place, just a few minutes later.

It was a good enough book, just too much setup going on.  I’m tired of it already and want to see something really happen, though I did enjoy the Star Trek reference.

  12. @drake: Some sure from this point on we’ll get some type of fight. But I really dont think the intention was for a Hulk/Wolverine fight.

Cause like in Ultimate Human, there was much more then Hulk beating the crap out of Iron Man. This feels excately the same way. There’s a character story going threw here and the ‘fight’ that is suppose to happen is just a tasty dessert for the whole thing/

  13. It’s called Ultimate Wolverine "VS" The Hulk…:P

  14. @drake: Okay so a title or cover for a series lied to you….first time that’s ever happened in your comic reading life? I dont think so

  15. I am dumbfounded by the complaint that every issue isn’t a Hulk/Logan fight. This is a six issue series; how much punching and stabbing do you need? What’s the climax if the fight starts on page 2?

  16. @Jimski-I want a beat down!  Me no want think about stuff!  Just smashing!!!

  17. @drake Dude last issue was full of fighting

  18. With all the complaining about "cheesecake" cover art that goes on here, I’m surprised that people don’t complain about the interiors of this book. Jen Walter’s shirt gets blown open at a couple points for no real reason. The orgasmic transformation into She-Hulk. The gamma dosage in the ass.

I have a high tolerance for this kind of nonsense but even I noticed it and even cringed embarrassingly at points.

  19. Solid.

  20. @scorpion: I thought it was funny that Betty had that type of experience transforming into She-Hulk.

I admit there was cheesecake and I am normally against it. But I really didnt catch a lot of it the first time. Although your right, girl’s shirts seem to pop up for no reason. lol

  21. The amount of boobage in this is ridiculous. Total cheesecake. Plus every single character is unlikeable which does not work for this kind of book.

  22. LOL  check out the phone number, all Lost fans should reconize it

  23. All I can say is that Betty in the Ultimate Universe does seem to be driven by her sexuality, so what went on in these pages wasn’t completely inconsistent.  Ultimate Hulk is also centered around sex too.

    @Miyamotofreak – I like these characters.

But what is it with Yu, and drawing exagerated bloody parts around eyeballs, and colorists highlighting?  Very weird and distracting.  Final page headshot of the Hulk was incredible.

  24. ultimate she hulk is SO hot but i think its Yu’s art that makes her that way
