  1. Might pick this up for the Black Cat appearance and cover.

  2. Dodsons are back! This is one of my favorite Marvel series right now. Cool characters and fun adventure!

  3. This is a fun series.

I look forward to rereading these, just like the original Defenders.

  4. Why couldn’t David Aja [ or Michael Lark ] be the artist on this book?! I just don’t like the fit of the Dodsens with this book.

  5. Picking it up for Black Panther

  6. Still the most fun to be had in four colors. POTW, you brilliant, wacky bastard!

  7. Black Panther, Shuri, Dr. Strange, bubble-headed Silver Surfer, and Iron Fist, lying on the palace floor in a circle, on a shamanistic vision-quest: just one reason why this book is so fun to read. Though I’ve enjoyed the fill-in artists in the last several issues, the Dodsons were a welcome return. I also like how Fraction is tying stuff in this storyline into The Iron Fist lore he and Brubaker worked out. Loving this.

  8. Great book, and done exactly the way a team-up should be done. Alone none of these characters (maybe Doc Strange) can or should have their own title. Putting a group of B characters together in a team is the right call. Also, a big bonus for not infecting this in with the A v X mess. I like that Marvel had the thought to at least have something for their readers to follow if they don’t want to buy 30 books a week to keep up with one of their events. Thunderbolts and The Defenders are staying on my pull list indefinately. Solid book, I love the backstory with the old team and the adventures they went on. It kinda reminds of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in a way. I hope they keep this one going, I’ll be along for sure. A+

  9. PotW and 5/5. GREAT title!
