May 15, 2013 10:36 pm I just want to see where it goes from here. I kept hoping that it would get better but, it is not. Now it is just a matter of getting though it since I have gone this far with it. This would have been a good discount buy in TPB off Amazon, used, on clearance.
May 9, 2013 11:36 am I picked up issue 4 and was not convinced with what I read. Under the guise of my friends who have both been on this from the beginning I was gobsmacked with this book. Wow. Just, wow. What a good read. The art is everything you would want it to be for the God of Thunder, the story was solid and kept you wanting for more. It looks like I'll be hunting down the back issues for this series or at least last month's issue.
December 7, 2012 7:18 pm Wow, what a bad, bad book. I want my money back for this. With the hype and the team that they set up it should have had a better send off than this. No action, very little set up and no real explaination as to how any of these people are going to get together and why. It was pretty bad all around. With pnel after panel of no dialogue I can't believe that Marvel would allow this to go to print. I would pass on this until the writing and art team are off this book.
June 9, 2012 3:09 am This book has been amazing from the beginning. The simple fact taht they are even talking about race relations in a comic book, let alone a Transformer comic. To think that they are even addressing issues like these really speaks volumes about the writing staff and the mindset of where they really want to take this book. A+++
June 9, 2012 2:57 am Great book, and done exactly the way a team-up should be done. Alone none of these characters (maybe Doc Strange) can or should have their own title. Putting a group of B characters together in a team is the right call. Also, a big bonus for not infecting this in with the A v X mess. I like that Marvel had the thought to at least have something for their readers to follow if they don't want to buy 30 books a week to keep up with one of their events. Thunderbolts and The Defenders are staying on my pull list indefinately. Solid book, I love the backstory with the old team and the adventures they went on. It kinda reminds of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in a way. I hope they keep this one going, I'll be along for sure. A+
June 9, 2012 2:50 am Well, I gave it a shot and it did not deliver. I dropped this book all together. I am saddened to see another non-event in the Marvel timline. If the put this in trade, and they include all the side books then maybe I'll get it as a point of reference but other than that, I decided that I would rather wait to see if something good comes of this event. I would venture to say that it won't based on Marvel's history with their events.
May 18, 2012 10:28 pm So far this book has not disappointed. I have been following this book for about three years now and I am constantly impressed with the art and the story. Tony retiring was inevitable, you could see that he was backed into a corner, they were setting this up a couple of years ago. The buildup on the book has been done very well, not like the other books where there is a weaker story then a huge arch that lasts for about a year. Smaller steps with twists and turns in it make for a satisfying read month to month.
May 18, 2012 10:21 pm This is my first time with a full run on The Hulk. I never thought that the character was worth reading until I picked up this series. I was and have been impressed with how they have developed this character. I really enjoyed the panels where The Hulk was wondering the earth like Kane. The point one books are kinda silly in a way like most books, i.e. Venom. Both books are good but I find myself grabbing this one off the top of my pull list every time it shipps.
May 11, 2012 12:46 pm Anyone else notice the Kid Apocolypse that keeps showing up in the background of Marvel comics? There was one in the last issue of Wolverine and I think there was another in A v X, then the obvious one in Uncanny X-force.
May 6, 2012 2:08 am I was only allowed to pick 3 from my local shop, they needed to make sure everyone got some, which is still cool. I got Transformers, Atomic Robo and The New 52. I am so stoked for the new Transformers, I would drop all of my other pulls just to get this book. I will definately need to beg the store owner to get this ordered because I am sure he won't if it's just me.
