Last issue was really strong. Kindt is perfect for this book and I’m intrigued to see where he’s taking this flashback story.
Couldn’t agree more, I didn’t even realize it was Kindt until I finished the issue and went back to check. This book just keeps getting better.
Nice looking cover.
Does anyone know how long Sweet Tooth is supposed to run? I have a vague recollection of an interview where Lemire said it was going to be 36-40 issues but given my memory it could have been nothing instead of an interview.
i thought i heard 50
Lemire did say 50 in a recent interview
Cheers.
I’m sorry, Kindt isn’t bad and his style fits, but the lack of Lemire art is ruining this series for me. It doesn’t help that the change in story is jarring also.
Ya i get where your coming from, although like a couple of other points in this series it will be worth the wait once we move on from this story and back to the main one im sure.
You were right. Holy Moses I freaking loved this and the story just got moved along quite a bit.
Really good issue as always. Been a while since I got surprised in a comic and the end did just that. Also, Kindt is a natural fit for this series.
4.5/5
This is my POW. Last issue threw me off and I wasn’t sure whether I liked where this was going or not, but this issue delivered and moved it right along to a place I really like. This series will be excellent in trade.
I was skeptical of the art and story in the last issue, but #2 in the series really pulled it together. this is such an exciting story, and if you haven’t already started reading sweet tooth, you’re missing out, get out there and buy the tpb you won’t be sorry.
I really enjoyed this issue. Very well done.
