ive only read the first 15 or so issues. But man do i wanna get this pic blown up and framed.
@Fcckstick, I think the cover is a bit creepy. Kinda like the old Sandman covers from way back. To each his own though. I cannot wait to read this issue! All the build up and now it’ll get knocked over!
Absolutely the best book on the stands.
I finally admitted to not liking Scalped a few weeks ago based on the first issue but after some people said to stick with it I did and I was sold after the second trade.Much more complex than I thought it would be,when the human side crept in and the attitude goes down a few notches it really started to get good imho. Sadly after reading reviews and seeing plot teasers like the one above for the last year or two I’ve slightly spoiled it for myself.
The last issue was weak as hell, cause of the stupid needle thing. Hope we’re getting back on strong stories and away from weak ass twist.

I’m waiting for trade on Scapled…numer fives out soon (yay), but the cover looks great.
I read the first trade and enjoyed it, but it’s not like I was jonesing for more, so I stopped there. Still, people who read it seem to LOVE it, so maybe I’ll give it another shot with this issue.
It definitely gets better after that first trade. I think you should go back!

100% agreed, EnFuego. I like most of the stuff they’re putting out, and I usually check out any #1 issue (though I wasn’t interested in Unwritten or Greek Street) but I only buy Scalped, Hellblazer, and Unknown Soldier monthly. Still reading Fables/Jack and DMZ, but in trade only.

I had three or four time where I said "Holy Shit" out loud while reading this.
Aaron keeps ratcheting up the tension. Month after month, one measured notch at a time. I’m not sure how many more issues I can read before my head explodes.
I just noticed that this book is getting way more pulls than before. Issue #15: 88 pulls. Issue #30: 212 pulls. Maybe that has more to do with the growing number of iFanboy members, regardless it’s nice to see.
This cover is definitely going to be filed under "need a poster of this ASAP."
Anyway…this may very well be my POW. It’s better than the previous contender, BLACKEST NIGHT #01, but it’s possible that some of my unread books might be better. The best issue in a long, long while.

Finally got around toreading this. I get chills everytime I read an issue of Scalped. What an amazing series. Definitely my Pick of the Week.
