  1. Ooh! Excited!

  2. Wow.  That was an intense ride.  This is as strong as, or stronger than, the issue that was the pick a few weeks ago.  Fabian Nicieza is nailing it.  Tim is positively intimidating in this issue.  He currently feels (in my opinion) like he is a better fit for the cowl than Dick (assuming Tim doesn’t snap before he gets his chance).

Regardless of how you feel about RIP, you have to like the repercussion of that storyline that are being felt in the ancillary Bat-titles.  Morrison (intentionally or not) has created an excellent playground for these writters (Nicieza, Tomasi, and the guest writers) to operate in and it is paying off nicely (in my opinion).

  3. freddie williams draws one hell of a Nightwing.

  4. Alfred can fix about anything…even major burns…maybe Tim will end up with a new hairstyle due to his injuries and Alfred is just the man to do it!!

  5. I just, for some reason, realized this when seeing what the Itrinity’s picks were this week.

Conor, you must be loving Bat-titles right now….cause your last 4 out of 5 weeks have been Bat-Titles for your own POTW.

I didnt think they were that good, but clearly I am missing someone from not reading Robin or Nightwing.

  6. @TNC- Robin and Nightwing have been really good lately.

  7. I hope the new mask isn’t permanent (but Tony Daniel did mention redoing the suits, so who knows what to expect with this Battle for the Cowl [argh]).

  8. "My city"? Hope Bruce didn’t hear that! 😛

  9. Powerful stuff.  I’m enjoying where this has been headed, and for as long as the stories been (5 parts already?), it doesn’t feel padded.

  10. One of the first comic books I ever read was Robin: Jokers Wild (with Tim Drake as Robin). Ever since I have been following Tim Drakes’ stint as Robin; and have been really excited with where it is heading. With that being said:

I still think that Tim Drake will become the new Batman. As reluctant as Tim has been about the Mantle of the Bat, I do believe that Gotham really is his city now (as WADEWILSON also posted).
