  1. Has anyone heard anything about this? Looks interesting but I wont pick it up if it has no gas behind it.

  2. This is DEFINITELY the most anticipated of the year for me.  I’ve been reading the updates and I love what this sounds like.  The art is pretty tremendous as well.

  3. Ron interviewed the writer on a video show from earlier this year ( I would like to say emerald con ) and it seemed very interesting. Spencer equated the story to LOST. A larger unfolding mystery surrounded by interesting characters. Sounded cool, to me!

  4. Light-ish week and the "Don’t Miss" convinced me. I’ll be checking this out.

  5. Hmmmm….. I do like Ron Weasly.

  6. I like Joe Eisma’s stuff that I’ve seen on Jay Faerber books.  The coloring or somethin looks a bit different than I’m used to though.  I’ll be checking out at least the first 3 issues.

  7. Nick Spencer is the next big thing. Everybody should pick this up so you can say "I’ve been reading his comics before it was cool"

  8. Hmmm, I do want to be cool. OK, I’m in.

  9. Sounds interesting, but when I listened to the Don’t Miss, all I was hearing was "wait for the trades."  I’ll probably get the first issue though to see if the trades will be worth it.

  10. I can’t wait. I’ve been looking forward to this, it sounds great.

  11. Fantastic first issue.  A lot of characters are already likeable, and the mystery has set in.  I could see this being enjoyable for sometime even if the mystery is not revealed (sort of like Twin Peaks).  Also, the art was solid (though it seemed all of the characters had basically the same bodies, only differentiated by hair color/style).  Can’t wait to read more of this series.

  12. Thank you Ifanboy for reccomending this! It was great!

  13. Buy this!!!

  14. Finished this, put it down. Thought gee… that was f’ed up. Picked it right back up and thumbed through it and thought… yup, definitely f’ed up. Can’t wait for issue 2.

  15. Thanks to Dont Miss I have bought this book of awesomeness.

  16. This was really good.  This is the type of issue that I will no doubt re-read a few times.  I’m excited for the next one.

What’s up with the POTW percentages?  They seem to total up to below 40% rather than 100%.  That’s some weird ifanboy math or something.

  17. My store didn’t get any in… god damn it

  18. Good read. Definitely set up the mystery pretty well. I didn’t think much of the art, though.

  19. Great first issue, definitely left me wanting more.  Didn’t beat out the latest issue of Locke & Key for POTW in my opinion, though.  Joe Eisma will be signing copies at Zeus Comics here in Dallas this Wednesday.

  20. This book reads like a movie, which is cool.  Interesting actionized opening sequence(s); mysteries to be uncovered; sinister background goings on; individualized character dev’t; left us with a shappalling (my contraction of shock + appall)  cliffhanger.

  21. So bummed my LCS either didn’t get it or sold out on the first day.

  22. Storyline reminds me of Japanese visual novels like Cross Channel and Higurashi.
