@TNC: Everything but art that really felt rushed and like akamuu said made the dinosaurs feel flat.
Enjoyable. Not great, though. I’m willing to see it out for 4 issues. But the art could be better. 3/5
I really wish the art had been better on this. The story was ok but i think it was missing the danger, the science, and the aww that makes Jurassic Park great.
Frank Cho draws incredible dinosaurs.
This really didn’t jive with me. What I loved about the first Jurassic park was the atmosphere and mood (developed through the characters, the dinosaurs, but most of all the ISLAND). I know its hard to get right into the action on an issue #1, but thats what good creators do! I’m not hooked. I’m just glad I was able to find the cover that I wanted and that Jurassic Park will be on HBO this week for my DVR to record 😀
