First off let me start this review by staqting that I am a huge dinosuar nerd and I would like to see more comics with them in it . That being said I was’nt really excited to see this one come out , not that I did’nt like the old Topps title of the same name . But this title is lacking in everything that made the old series fun . The story written by Bob Schreck is lacking in anything interesting . The peek a boo bad guy routine is kind of stale , there Bob why don’t you try another hackneyed plot device , you know like a telephone contest to decide who dies ?

As bad as the writing is , the art is even worse . Nate Van Dyke’s artwork is …well its awful It looks like a 7th grader was inked by a drunken Klaus Janson ( who is an awesome inker by the way ) . But this stuff is really , really bad . There is a full page shot of what are3 supposed to be veloceraptors , the only reason I know this is because the main charecter is talking about them on the page before it . If I had to figure it out on the basis of the crappy artwork I would’nt have been able to . This title has a lot of promise but after reading this issue I don’t think I am going to be around to see any improvment . I am giving the story a 1and the art a 1 and thats because 1 is as low as I can go .

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 1 - Poor
