  1. I enjoyed last issue, the old school style art and Thor uniform was worth the price alone.

    • I was not familiar with Walter Simonson’s art before reading the last issue but I must say I was impressed by the old-school energy that was emanating from it, it was kinetic and pure action, comic book fun!

  2. I love this series and I loved Leinil Lu’s art a lot…Not to say I don’t like Walter Simonson, but….is he permanent? or is he just a guest artists?

  3. I love this series and I loved Leinil Lu’s art a lot…Not to say I don’t like Walter Simonson, but….is he permanent? or is he just a guest artist?

  4. We get some more Simonson drawing Thor, Hulk, and Ice Giants for FCBD? Marvel you’re spoiling me.

  5. Favorite book these days.

  6. Book feels very important to Hulks character as oppose to past Hulk runs besides Planet Hulk.

  7. A good read… some fun moments here!

  8. Love Simonson’s art and marvel needs to return to the classic Thor costume.

  9. This was the most fun comic I’ve read in a long time! I LOVED the gag with Hulk and mjolnir! A great story with classic art!

  10. I loved how Mark Waid was keeping this an old school flavor to this. Lots of melodrama and Thor speak to make me enjoy this. Simonson’s art was kick ass but there was some roughness to the panels. Lot of lines….which is normal for Simonson but it looked wonky in places. Still, enjoying this arc and can’t wait for more next month.

  11. My least favourite issue of the run so far. I just can’t get into Simonson’s art. 3/5
