GREEN ARROW #8

Part two of a three-part story introducing new creative team of Ann Nocenti and Harvey Tolibao!

Green Arrow faces off against the enraged father of three beautiful sisters, which might not seem so unusual for Ollie until you add in the part about being trapped in a frozen tundra with a horde of bloodthirsty, mutating animals. Things aren’t what they seem as Green Arrow must race to uncover the truth about this “family” before he becomes a monster snack – or a frozen corpse!

  1. Am I the only one that can’t stand the new art? Green Arrow looks like he’s part mole/rat in the last issue

  2. Is that Blonde Widow on the cover?

  3. The horror! The horror!

  4. I like this comic since issue #1 and have liked the story since than however; I must agree I do not like the new artist.

  5. Personally I love the new artist and as much as I like Jurgens on art it did not mesh well with the youthful GA DC is trying to push.

  6. Love the art but I am confounded with this story. It almost feels like this was an English dubbed version of a foreign film when they didnt spend a whole lot of money on making sure it was a good translation.

  7. I wrote a review before I read the comments and I see I’m not alone, It’s hard to drop a book you’ve been reading for 25 years but garbage is garbage.

    • The more people come to this conclusion the sooner DC will – hopefully – correct the terrible mess they have done. I’m at a point where I miss Judd Winick’s run, and that says something. That wasn’t a great book but it had at least Oliver Queen in it, and Connor Hawke.

    • This went from one of my favorite titles of the New 52 to possibly my least favorite in 2 short issues. Art, story, all of it is really horrid. I hope DC makes a change instead of canceling it, i have a feeling a lot of readers will be dropping this title

  8. This seems more Connor or someone else and not a Oliver Queen that I would like to continue to read. I need to start cutting more titles and this one has started to become a down trend since issue #7 and now this excuse for a comic book.

Sorry Green Arrow YOU HAVE BEEN DROPPPPPED!!

  9. I’m trying really really really hard to like this book!!! I LOVE the Green Arrow. He’s my favorite hero from DC. I even named my friggin cat Ollie! Bu tthis book sucks! The writing is hard to follow and the art is even worse.
