This book is an embarrassment to DC, not that I think they care. I hate the art, the panels show the poorest editing, using action panels that don’t flow, the story may be good but I can’t tell because critical parts are missing. There’s too much dialog, it’s a comic for c..ist sake, did anyone at DC read this before they published it…I don’t think so.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 1 - Poor

  1. So sad, I want to read a GOOD Green Arrow comic as I loved the character in JLU…

    • Today I found GA volume 1 issue 1 – 4 at a pawn shop. The artwork was good and the story is awesome… this from 1983!
I still can’t believe what they have done with the “new” re-imagining of the Green Arrow…. Oliver Queen was so cool…..

  2. It was really sad what they did to this character with the past few years.

  3. And yet, OMAC got cancelled…

What I wouldn’t give for another good Green Arrow series.

  4. Huh. I hadn’t ready any issues of this since Brightest Day, so I decided to look and see how bad it was. I didn’t have any problem following the paneling. I found the pencils mediocre, but not awful. I think the problem is the writing, which, I agree, is afuckentrocious.

  5. Preach

  6. Ok… I am now officially sick of the new artwork…. and the story line…. and the fact that they have taken a character I loved for his depth and turned him into a 2 dimensional prick…..

    (did I mention the artwork?)
