FABLES #107

We all know the curse: She’ll sleep until she’s kissed by a handsome prince who loves her with true love. We have the sleeping girl. We have the handsome princes – lots of them. But where’s the true love? Without that, we fear she may spend a long time napping among the thorns. Oh, and memo to all you handsome princes lining up: When you hack your way into the city to kiss the girl, make sure you don’t try to kiss the Snow Queen instead.

This one-shot tale features art by Eisner Award winner Terry Moore (Echo, Strangers in Paradise).

  1. I’ve been waiting for this issue for SO long.  Terry Moore in the Fables universe sounds like perfection.

  2. This will be the first issue of Fables I’ve ever bought.  Love Terry Moore’s art.

  3. I do like the idea of going back to this plot thread that’s been dangling since the end of the War

  4. ove Fables. Even on its worst days, Fables is still better than most.

  5. This is something I have been waiting for. I always feel so sad when I think of them just sleeping and missing everything.

  6. Last issue was disappointing as was the news that the reader will have to pick up Fairest to read the conclusion to this “one-shot.”  Still my favorite series but I’m hoping for a bit of a refocus going forward.

  7. @kmob181  what’s Fairest?

  8. Great series.

  9. Another great issue and probably the most gorgeous cover in recent memory.
I can’t wait to read more when Fairest starts in a few months!

  10. In many panels I think Moore was consciously channeling Berke Breathed.
