Phil Noto. Wow. Every. single. time.
Agreed!
I look forward to Noto’s work every week. Just breathtaking. I have never seen Elektra look better.
Phil Noto.
damn that Noto is haunting
Anyone else think Phil Noto’s Electra looks a bit like Jaimie Alexander?

Maybe he photoreferenced a picture of her
Phil Noto…amazing…
That Elektra, those eyes……..
(no words)
Holy moly….. that might be the single greatest portrait that I have every seen.
If Orc Stain actually WAS drawn by Ottley, I’d be all over that business. As it stands now, no thank you.
You’re missing out on a great book. Can’t get into Stokoe’s art?
Phil Noto does it again. Ryan Ottley a close second.
I prefer the colored version of the Hawthorn piece. Great batch of sketches this week.
These were all great, but that Phil Noto piece…. wow. I’d like a print of that.
Electra by Phil Noto
I can see a personality in that drawing that really fits that character
I would love a wallpaper size of that Kirby piece. Amazing.
Also, I love that Phil Noto piece
So Phil Noto…why doesn’t he do more interior stuff?
He does a lot of interiors.
He just finished up a 2 issue arc on X-23, he’s semi regular on that and does a bunch of mini series and one shots. The best of which I think is the Doc Savage / Bat-Man First Wave one shot. The art in that was ridiculously good.
Did a mini-series called Infinite Horizon at Image that just wrapped up. It took a while. He’ll be doing Angel and Faith fill-in in December. He did a mini series with Joe Casey last year about the Avengers origin. Gotta watch for him.
I thought The Avengers Origin was kind of take it or leave it story wise, but the art was great, especially the covers Noto did. Particularly the Hulk Punching Iron Man one. Also Noto draws The Wasp and Loki perfectly.

I am starting to think I should make Noto’s Tumblr the homepage on my computer so I will be happy everytime I sign on. The Magik and Black Widow pictures he has on there are awesome.
Whenever my friends refer to a video game character or a comic book drawing as “hot”, as if they were talking about a real woman, I’ve always been a little thrown off by it. It just seems weird to me. I think I get it now. Phil Noto FTW.
I love the star lord piece just because I love star lord and I miss the quality cosmic books at marvel. Green lantern doesn’t scratch that itch and annihilators just isn’t doing it for me.
I love that Kirby tribute
Digging Shaner’s Flash and Impulse. I would love it if Bart could drop the ridiculous “Kid Flash” name and go back to that look and costume. It seemed to fit him much better. Its rare we get a speedster that either doesn’t A) wear a replica of Barry’s costume or B) wear a bright red color. My peace? It’s done been said.
We’ve had better weeks. I’d love me some more Super Chimp!
Beppo = Super Monkey Jesus? Awesome.
Ottley kicks ass.
