Trailer and clip from GRANT MORRISON: TALKING WITH GODS

At last year's San Diego Comic-Con, Josh, Ron and I had the opportunity to talk about Grant Morrison for the upcoming feature length documentary, Grant Morrison: Talking With Gods. After finally finding a distributor, the film is scheduled to premiere this year. It was originally set to debut at next week's San Diego Comic-Con but word is the premiere has been pushed to New York Comic-Con in October.

Here's the trailer:

Here's a clip from the film:

I doubt we made the cut for the film (I don't remember what we said — San Diego is long and tiring — but I don't remember thinking "Man, this is gold" while we were talking, either) but it looks like it'll be really interesting no matter what.

Comments

  1. What about Sal Abbianati’s stories about Morrison?

This looks interesting, I would love to wacth it

  2. I feel like I saw that trailer years ago. Can’t wait for it to finally be released.

  3. Awesome!

  4. I’m a Morrison supporter. I can’t wait to know more about him.

  5. Just put Warren Ellis’ now classic confrence from SDCC ’08. I don’t care if the story was real, it is Morrison’s public persona!

  6. Can’t wait for this. I remember the last trailer made no sense what so ever. This should be fun.

  7. Already waiting some time for this, exited it finally comes out this year

  8. And I will be at New Yotk Comic-Con. How completley awesome.

  9. Is this movie about drugs?  I’m guessing it has to be.

  10. Does Morrison come with subtitles?

  11. I think it will be interesting.  I certainly don’t think Morrison is a God.  Hopefully, it will be successful and we’ll see a movie a few years from now about Geoff Johns.

  12. @marchak75: I haven’t seen the movie, but I don’t believe the title referes to Grant Morrison, it refers to his transcendental activities.

  13. Like a fully shaved Alan Moore? You know. Not exactly the same, they’re just both different.

  14. I hate the background music of the trailer. It makes them seem to tease him with his activities.
