Chef, travel writer and Get Jiro! author Anthony Bourdain has joined the Court of Owls. Or maybe he’s just trying to shop the con floor incognito using one of those free masks from this week’s Batman panel. Either way, it’s a hoot.
You just know the Court is all about the Ortolan.
Via Anthony Bourdain’s Twitter feed.
Haha! That’s awesome.
Snyder should start an entire celebrity themed photo album. They probably already have a similar underground organization in Hollywood anyway.
as a chef, it’s nice to see a fellow culinary artist as accomplished as bourdain cross over into comics.
inspiring even.
i loved his books like “Kitchen Confidential”, but this is a whole ‘nother ballgame.
what a talented mothafucka.
chef as well, I like setting Bourdain exploring the comic medium…although the Get Jiro! was only fair at best…wasn’t quite sure
why it got all the hype…
Be a good idea for stars who wanna check out the con.
There was an article in Esquire last year about Justin Timberlake and a reporter wandering the con floor dressed up as Bert and Ernie.
Adam Savage from Mythbusters goes incognito every year
Not only at Comic-Con… but Halloween is a very popular time for masked celebrities to roam around (especially in L.A.).
These masks were a clever giveaway and are perfect for celebs to walk the floor unoticed, I love that so many different people from all different mediums are getting into the comic-con spirit and mixing it up…..those masks as a large group are super creepy, loved that photo that’s on here somewhere. Gotta read Get Jiro! Go Anothony go, keep living that good life!
Is it just me or is Snyder slowly building a cult?
“Not just you.” — the cult in question
