Comments

  1. I wonder what happened to Andreyko on Cap & Bucky. Really excited for Francavilla on it though!

  2. While I’m sad that Samnee will be off Cap & Bucky, the fact that Francavilla’s doing a stint on it is wonderful

  3. Why is “heroes” in quotes?

  4. Francesco Francavilla on cap and Bucky count me in

  5. Soooooo many books I want!

  6. Any idea when the full list is actually supposed to come out anyone?

  7. I may be showing my ignorance here, but is there a reason for no Daredevil?

  8. Fantastic Four and FF?!! Wha…?! Cooooool…

  9. I expect to see that Alpha Flight cover as a Best Cover of the Week pick in December!

    • I 2nd that, brilliant angle, not like the reflection trick hasn’t been don before but did it look this good? Also, if your an artist you know how difficult this angle can be to pull off proportioned and stunning.

  10. wow, i guess i just dont care about marvel anymore. none of this interests me. i love francavilla but being only 1/2 of the equation is not enough to sell me.

  11. Thank god Fantastic Four is $2.99. I was afraid it was going to be another $3.99 book after it became clear they were splitting the series in two. It’s still twice as much book per month, but FF was already double shipping pretty much every month and these two books seem different enough in concept that I’m ok with it. Marvel gets one right! Now please work on all the other issues you’ve got goin’, big M.

  12. Love the Thunderbolts cover and concept. I’m getting a bit burnt out on Hulk with all the double shipping though.

    • I’m have been enjoying T-Bolts as well but have also been getting burnt out on this book and the number of times that it has double-shipped over the past year.

  13. That really is cool that Francavilla is doing Captain America. I’m sure people were going to be pissed that Samnee isn’t on the book anymore. But to be replaced by Francavilla!? Win win right there.

I don’t know why but the mix of that simple solict with the image of Thing about to ‘clobber’ someone really got me excited. I’m still hesitant on whether FF is still needed once Fantastic Four is back full time….But we’ll see what happens.

    • You don’t think there’s room for Fantastic Four and FF? Weren’t you buying like 4 Deadpool titles a month at one time? I think both FF and Fantastic Four can easily fit nicely in the Marvel line-up. Have Fantastic Four focus on the more super-hero type adventures of the foursome, while FF focuses more on the Future Foundation and the expanded cast, with more science/explorer type stories. I think it would work very well.

    • Why do people think I bought all the Deadpool books at once? I bought Way’s series for 43 straight issues while I gave the other 2 (Team Up/Merc with a Mouth) one issue and immediately dropped them after one issue. So annoying…

Anyways, I just don’t know if I’m up to read on the kids for an arc and/or ongoing. Although if Doom is the central villain for the arc that might sway my mind.

    • Because Deadpool fans must buy ALL the Deadpool books! Fit into my pre-conceived mental pictures!!!

In all seriousness, from the way you talked about the Deadpool books, I assumed you read them.

  14. What, no Fear Itself 7.9?

  15. Oh Lordy, there’s a lot of stuff coming out that looks absolutely Metal.

Fantastic Four sounds good, FF sounds amazing.

  16. From the Hulk solicit ” Red and Machine Man go mono a mono (a machino) ”

Isn’t the saying “Mano a mano”, as in hand to hand?

  17. Is Samnee off Cap & Bucky for good? If so, drats.

  18. the spiderman and the FF#13 looks awesome. great panels overall

  19. Splitting up FF and Fantastic Four into two different titles is really going to mess up my long boxes. Right now, I have FF #1 immediately following Fantastic Four #588, since the story directly continues in that issue. Where the hell am I going to put Fantastic Four #600? Right between #588 and FF #1? That doesn’t make sense from a numerical view or a story view. Do I stick it after FF #12, when it comes out? Well, I can’t do that because there’s an FF #13! What will I do!?

This is all too much for me to try to wrap my head around. I need me one o’ them Betty Draper fainting couches.

  20. Uh oh, Hawkeye looks Ultimatized on that Ghost Rider cover!

  21. I’ll buy the Annhiliators mini because it’s marvel cosmic but i really would love at least one ongoing out there. Also Black Panther and Hulk sound fantastic, two of the better books marvels putting out right now.

  22. Thunderbolts cover is done by Mike Del Mundo, not Joe Quinones.

  23. At this point I think I’m so uninterested in the Marvel Universe that nothing here interests me, even though there are some decent creators involved with characters I once liked.

I think I’ll have to wait for the Agents of Atlas or Guardians of the Galaxy to make a reappearance or another Marvel Zombie series.

  24. Love Francavilla’s art!

  25. From this batch of books I’ll be getting Fantastic Four and FF. I’ll probably check out Six Guns in trade.

  26. I cant wait for Annihilators! When is DnA going to get another cosmic ongoing?

  27. only thing that looks intersesting to me is Alpha Flight and Thunderbolts

  28. One thing that gets to me (call it a pet peeve, if you will) is that I can’t get ANY information on that Six Guns mini on Marvel’s website. You’d think an OFFICIAL website would be both easier to browse and contain more information…

  29. Lots of pretty artwork.

  30. Woah, didn’t realize that Marvel was doing something with their Western characters. I may have to take a gander at that! Also that Lenil Yu cover on Marvel Super Stars is gorgeous!

  31. So much great stuff! Francavilla on Captain America is too good to pass up. And I really like the Earthfall cover. I might pick up the Holiday special too. And Juan Doe is doing work again! I haven’t seen him since that Scarecrow special a while back. He’s fantastic!

  32. Can’t say that anything above really gets the blood pumping. Blah!

  33. Hmm, Hawkeye kinda looks like the new Green Arrow. Or is it the other way around? Or do they both look like Ultimate Hawkeye? Or does Ultimate Hawkeye look like the guy from Thor? **head hurts**
