One continent down, six to go.
We've uncovered another big announcement out of WonderCon, this time from DC Comics. This image appears to be a full-page ad for an upcoming Superman storyline called "Hostel Territory."
Now, we don't have any issue #s to go by here, but it looks like JMS is returning to the monthly Superman ongoing and not just scripting a new OGN. This is a strange turn of events given the press surrounding his departure from Superman "Grounded" as well as Wonder Woman in order to focus on the Superman: Earth One line of graphic novels. A fake-out, or did he simply change his mind? Maybe the Last Son of Krypton really needs a few more months of soul-searching.
Either way, looks like Superman might be Grounded for life.

April Fool’s!
I love the backpack. The image needs an iPad and a Starbucks cup. Maybe some kind of slogan based sticker (like “Think Different”) on the backpack. Let’s set a new record on the douche-o-meter.
This is one case where it would be hilarious if this wasn’t an April Fool’s joke.
Totally fell for the headline and tweeted a joke believing it was real. Because, let’s be honest, it could happen.
Then I read the article. Well played, Mr. Montgomery. Well played.
For the next story arc about Superman Jogging….
Man, you guys are really raking JMS over the coals. LOL. It didn’t seem to be all that mean until the sarcastic “celebrated writer” line.
So I’m guessing that the Sentry one is Marvel’s joke, and this one is iFanboy’s.. the Marvel one has sketches that seem like they were done by actual comic artists.
WonderCon is the funniest con of them all. what’s next? Blue Wave publishes the iFanboy story?
