April 1, 2013 4:13 pm Oh Lord. If I had a dollar for every time I've gotten excited over a possible Ben Reilly return, I'd be doing pretty darn well financially.
February 11, 2013 10:34 pm Hawkeye looks like a blonde Bono.
February 11, 2013 10:30 pm This is still one of my favorite books.
June 21, 2011 10:08 am I still think this is a waste.  Believe me I know comic fans, myself included, can hop on our fanboy treadmills and be fine with a status quo for decades.  However, I've come to a conclusion that Ultimate Comics really are just extremely long runs of "What if?"  I mean I read this morning where Peter's death will have a Uncle Ben effect on some other character.  I hope Spidey continues on as a flagship character and we get his adventures forever, that said this gets to do the "What if Spider-man died?" How would it affect the lives of MJ, May, Gwen, etc.  I just feel that to follow this on and on, you have to really like the question, What if?
June 10, 2011 3:10 pm @ResurrectionFlan  I decided to not pick up Flashpoint and my idea was that the DC characters come out of it younger and altered.  Spidey still seemed the same person after Mephisto just not married.  Superman appears to be a young man.  I rekoned this with Man of Steel after Crisis.  I mean I know Jason Todd was Robin before and after the last reboot but the universe changed, no Superboy etc. Schisim seems less to change the X-Universe and more like starting a new chapter in the same book.  DC seems like its starting a new book.
June 10, 2011 2:47 pm I've realized that I love the medium of comics much more than I previously would have given credit to, and everyone who knows me knows I'm a comic-aholic.  However, I dersperatley need to branch out beyond the big two and the Mignola-verse.  This was more of a wake up call that comics exist for me outside of Spider-man and Superman.  I mean I've always appreciated indie's but sacrificing dollars away from favorites to try something new has been hard.  I really am looking for the industry and myself to break into the digital age.  I've got too much paper in my house as is.  Except Spidey!  Spidey has to happen for me in paper. :  )
June 10, 2011 2:40 pm I actually prefer this kind of rebooting as a result of something like Schisim or even the Spidey marriage disolve as opposed to what DC is doing with there massive reboot.  I feel that new beginings or jump on points for new readers benefits the old and new audience a like.  At 34, I'm very acceptable to overlooking continuity.  I look for a story told with characters I love and don't care if they match up to a story that happened 12 or 3 years ago.  I mean consistancy is great by story matters most.
June 6, 2011 2:38 pm Really wanting some Magneto and Prof. X after seeing First Class.  Plus, I've been a fan of Gambit since Uncanny 266.  This might be my X-book and hopefully 250 is a good starting point.

June 5, 2011 9:45 am Crap, Hitler and I had the same reaction.
June 4, 2011 10:53 pm O.K.,  I just saw First Class and want some more Prof. X.  Is Legacy my only option here?  Will I get enough Chuck X in this title?
