May 23, 2012 10:03 pm imdb has them almost 8 years apart... (OMG ROBOCOP IS ALMOST 65! I FEEL SO OLD RIGHT NOW!) i haven't heard peter weller's voice in a while, but he definitely looks like he probably sounds quite a bit older than conroy... i've always pictured old man batman sounding like clint eastwood sounds these days. eastwood would probably cost more than the entire budget of the movie, so weller looks like he could be a good replacement.

May 23, 2012 9:15 pm heresy! actually, i can understand your pov, and if i'm just looking for a cool and dark batman story then i might go for year one, but i think that dkr is wayyyyy more moving to me. especially the final showdown with supes. i just pretend that it's superman playing a different role, the role of god. then the story ends with batman deciding that, if he's going to go down, he'll go down fighting god. it's a great way to end the story about batman. i'm also a fan of carrie kelly.

May 23, 2012 9:09 pm man these superhero movies are trying to break my bank. even though it will cost more, i'm sooooo glad that this is being split into two movies. year one is a shorter book, and it would be a lot easier to handle in one movie. dkr is long, and it's intricate. it definitely needs the extra space to get done well.

May 14, 2012 10:59 pm if you ask me, they already set up tbolts pretty well with black widow talking about getting rid of the red in her ledger. so, put her in tbolts. i don't think you can have too much scarlett johansson. i hate the idea of the rock as luke cage (i'm not a fan of the rock in anything but wrestling), but i'm not sure who i'd cast instead. i really do want a luke cage solo movie, though.

May 8, 2012 10:27 pm one thing i was thinking about for the next batch of movies, they could treat those end tags after the credits like a back-up. for example, if they're really going to use thanos and the infinity gauntlet in the avengers sequel, they could take a few scenes at the end of the movies to show thanos gathering infinity gems or something like that. the tags would have to be a bit longer, but it might be a cool way to build up for the next movie, especially since it will probably be a long ways off.
