August 3, 2009 10:44 am I haven't read volume 2, but based on your review I don't think we were seeing the same thing when we looked at volume 1. I thought it was a wonderful piece of storytelling.
There's an upside to this. If you don't like something, don't buy it. If it fails, they will stop.
A great example of this is $3.99 comics. I'm thinking long and hard about buying any $3.99 comics, and as a result my weekly pull list doesn't include many of them. If enough of us do that, we will see fewer titles above $2.99. If most of us just buy them regardless of the price, more titles will be moved up to that price point.
May 12, 2009 10:17 am I'm confused. Is this a pre-Secret Invation crossover? Even if they don't want to be sticklers for continuity, publishers at least need to pay attention to the timelines of major events.
